In this guitar of his, an instrument of great charm, with a complete and balanced sound, perfectly preserved today, we find all his qualitative characteristics as a craftsman-artist.
GUITAR Peter Gallinotti
Soleros 1939
Year: 1939
Soundboard: Italian fir
Bottom and Sides: Mahogany
Tuning fork:650mm
Paintwork: Shellac
Gallinotti was well known for his production of stringed instruments in which he reached remarkable levels. He began building guitars around 1915, in particular drawing inspiration from historical authors such as the Guadagninis. With an inversely proportional production of stringed instruments, it was after the 1930s that a more assiduous interest in the guitar began to show, which slowly became his only interest as a luthier and builder.
This slender and delicate, light and essential model very clearly expresses his vision of the guitar of the time.

Soundboard: Italian fir
Bottom and Sides: Indian Rosewood
Tuning fork:650mm
Paintwork: Shellac
The guitar presented here is one of the instruments that best represented Gallinotti's qualitative production, thanks to the artistic collaboration of the guitarist Mario Gangi, one of the most important and representative Italian guitarists of the mid-1900s, who used it for most of the his artistic career. In fact, with Gangi, the guitar was able to make itself known to the general public also thanks to its repeated presence as a guest on RAI radio and television programs.
GUITAR Peter Gallinotti
Soleros 1966
Year: 2008
Soundboard: Italian fir
Bottom and Sides: Indian Rosewood
Tuning fork:650mm
Paintwork: Shellac
This guitar from the period of Gallinotti's full maturity (built at the age of 81, he lived to be 94), still denotes the ability and lucidity of a young luthier. An instrument of great aesthetic character with a choice of top quality materials, it strongly recalls the Spanish tradition school of the early 1900s from which it often drew inspiration.
A guitar that is still very current in terms of sound and balance.
